While this is certainly no GPD WIN Max, this is literally a RPi4 running RetroPie with some modifications from Experimental Pi to help make the experience more portable friendly, what with the on-screen display that at first displays the load on the CPU, the temperatures on said CPU, the voltage, wi-fi signal should you choose to use it, Bluetooth icon, and the most important of all, the battery icon. And the two styles of shoulder buttons are a neat touch one looks like the grooves of the battery cover on the Gameboy, while the other set (and the one I personally like more) look more like the buttons in front.Īll this being said, this is one device that I personally think is worth the bucks spent. Thankfully, from what I’ve personally seen of the internals, it doesn’t look like one needs to be the Master of Soldering to put it together. The +Dmg +Ammo +basic stuff all works pretty good. Of course, sometimes I'll try some combination and realize it totally sucks. I'll often go into a mission and tell the team, "I'm testing some pretty stupid configurations, sorry." And I'll end up getting 2.5x the kills of anyone else. As such, you can do some pretty crazy things with them. I think a lot of these chain effects aren't really balanced or tested well. Warthog can use Stunner overclock and do similar. So Boomstick can get superblowthrough rounds and Stun Duration and you can lockdown a group of mobs.
You'll do like 3 dmg base with your AE, but you'll poison everything in 4m for over 100 dmg. The Neurotoxin Overclock on Thunderhead can be combined with the AE radius mods. And your focus shots can stun up to 3 mobs in a row. You can take the M1000, blowthrough, Stun. Same with using blowthrough on the Zhukov with CryoMinelets or Imbedded Detonators. You can blowthrough with the BRT7 Burt, and lay electro minelets (overclock) in the ground under the mob you just shot.
Or you could use the additional stun duration and just aim at the floor and keep everything stunned. Using Bullet Hell ricochet overclock on Leadstorm with blowthrough did a lot of dmg to smaller mobs. But I was bulldog poisoning huge groups with a revolver. I haven't been able to figure out how long it can go on. So you can blowthrough a mob with a Bulldog, poison it, hit the ground, chain hit, hit another mob, poison it. BUT, if you blowthrough, they also have whatever mods/overclocks they originally had. That means they can shoot through a target and potentially hit more. So a bulldog and subata can poison.įurther, a bunch of weapons have blowthrough. But those bounced shots also have whatever characteristics they had before. If nothing else, it's a way to maximize ammo and get more DPS. You don't see it happening, but if you hit the ground or weakpoint you have a 50% chance to hit a nearby enemy. They can trigger off of hitting a weak spot or the ground.

There are a number of ricochet mods and overclocks. I was doing some tests and goofing with strange builds and some turned out to be quite good.
